OUR MISSION Help the Homeless &
Feed the Hungry

WHO WE ARE

Norman Kronick

Norman Kronick believed deeply in helping those less fortunate. Inspired by this conviction, he founded The Fort Worth Foundation with a mission to support the homeless and feed the hungry throughout North Texas. Today, the Foundation is guided by a dedicated board of directors who are committed to continuing Norman’s legacy. Through strategic partnerships and grants, they support organizations that work tirelessly to uplift individuals and families in need.

Sandra Knight - President

Sandra began her career with Mr. Kronick in 1998, managing Riverbend Business Park. Over the years, she earned his trust through her dedication and professionalism. When Mr. Kronick established The Fort Worth Foundation, he entrusted a close circle of business associates—including Sandra—to carry forward his mission: to help the homeless and feed the hungry.

Following Mr. Kronick’s passing in 2010, Sandra was appointed President of the Foundation. Since then, she has worked tirelessly to preserve and honor his legacy, ensuring that the assets he spent a lifetime building are used to “do the most good.”

In his final days, Mr. Kronick was clear and passionate about his wishes: his wealth was to be used to help those in need, particularly the homeless and the hungry—and explicitly not diverted toward what he referred to as “artsy fartsy stuff.” Sandra has remained steadfast in honoring that vision, guiding the Foundation with integrity, focus, and compassion.

Kayla Bailey – Grants Administrator

Kayla joined The Fort Worth Foundation in 2012 as the Grants Administrator. In this role, she manages the grant application process and fosters relationships with local nonprofit organizations dedicated to combating homelessness and hunger. Kayla is committed to identifying and presenting the projects that best align with Mr. Kronick’s philanthropic mission, ensuring his legacy is honored through the Foundation’s grantmaking efforts.
